A black dot is the start of many creative outputs, whether it’s a pen on a piece of paper to write a poem or draw an illustration, a vector point or a click to create something in 3D, it all starts with the dot.

As a collective we have been lucky enough work in the world of interior design, working on large scale commercial projects across multiple sectors. Over that time we feel that the early stages of projects where thinking and being creative are critical have been reduced due to the demand for 3D visuals and models, which a lot of the time designers have to produce. Don’t get me wrong, we’re huge fans of 3D visualisation as it brings ideas to life and showcases them, but I am also a fan of having the time to create something rich and purposeful.

This is why we have created our Sketchup & VRAY courses, to share the knowledge and skills that have been developed working on real life design projects. It has been created with the purpose to give the BLK DOT community the tools to confidently create high standard models and visuals in less time, giving them more time to be CREATIVE.
